Chiropractor
Dr. James R. Boots
James R. Boots, D.C. has been a chiropractor serving the Heart of the Valley Area since 1985. In 1998 he opened Boots Chiropractic & Wellness Center, S.C. with his brother, Dr. Bill. Dr. Jim attended the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point prior to his graduation from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1985.
Dr. Jim is licensed by the state of Wisconsin in Chiropractic and Nutritional Counseling, as well as holding an Advanced Proficiency Rating in Activator Methods Chiropractic Technique since 1990, Certification in Sports Chiropractic (C.C.S.P.) since 1991, Physical Fitness and Sports Injury Certification since 1991, and a Whiplash and Brain Injury Traumatology Graduate. He has extensive continuing education in areas including: extremities, sports injuries, whiplash, brain injuries, auto related injuries, and nutrition. Dr. Jim grew up in Kimberly, Wisconsin and is a member of the Wisconsin Chiropractic Association (WCA), National Institute of Chiropractic Research, and Heart of the Valley Chamber of Commerce.
Outside of the office you might see Dr. Jim around town with his wife Joan and 4 kids, Dr. Matt, Eric, Dr. Kevin, and Kimberly. Dr. Jim has a passion for community involvement. He is the co-founder of Paperfest, a community based festival held in the Kimberly/Combined Locks each year in July. Additionally he has volunteered over 25 years with the Kimberly Jaycees, volunteered as a team chiropractor for area high school programs, and is a member of Holy Spirit Church. When Dr. Jim isn’t in the office he enjoys spending time with family, fishing, yard-work, traveling and going to Packers games. He enjoys reading a variety of research journals, staying updated with new ideas.

Dr. William J. Boots
William J. Boots, D.C. is a 1989 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic. He has practiced chiropractic in the Fox Cities for his entire career. Prior to attaining his Doctor of Chiropractic degree, Dr. Bill graduated from St. Norbert College in De Pere, WI with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Natural Sciences. Dr. Bill opened Boots Chiropractic & Wellness Center, S.C. in Kimberly with his brother, Dr. Jim, in 1998.
Dr. Bill is licensed by the State of Wisconsin in Chiropractic and Nutritional Counseling. Dr. Bill grew up in Kimberly and currently resides in Combined Locks, WI. As a lifelong resident of the Heart of the Valley area, community involvement is very important to Dr. Bill. He has volunteered as a basketball coach for several years at the youth and high school levels. He also serves on the St. Paul Elder Services Community Advisory Board, served as a member of the Heart of the Valley YMCA Board, and the Kimberly Area School District Positive Youth Development Board. He was inducted into the Kimberly High School Athletic Hall of Fame in 2010. Dr. Bill has also volunteered for the Village of Combined Locks in an effort to eradicate invasive buckthorn in the wooded areas of the village parks. Dr. Bill is a member of Holy Spirit Parish.
Dr. Bill and his wife, Emilie, are the proud parents of Elizabeth and her husband Tim, Jennifer and her husband Andrew, and Benjamin. Dr. Bill enjoys spending time with his family at his cottage on Lake Poygan, traveling, attending sporting events, playing basketball, and working out.
Chiropractor
Dr. Matthew J. Boots
Matthew J. Boots, D.C. attended the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay, majoring in Human Biology and minoring in Chemistry. Dr. Matt graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2016 and joins his family at Boots Chiropractic & Wellness Center, S.C. Dr. Matt is excited to help people in the Fox Valley by practicing with his father, Dr. Jim, uncle, Dr. Bill, and brother Dr. Kevin.
Dr. Matt received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin Green Bay (’13), majoring in Human Biology and minoring in Chemistry. Dr. Matt received his Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic (’16). Dr. Matt is licensed by the state of Wisconsin in chiropractic and nutrition certification, as well as holding an Advanced Proficiency Rating in Activator Methods Chiropractic Technique. He has taken many courses in nutrition, sports injuries, whiplash, instrument adjusting, and pediatrics. Dr. Matt grew up in Combined Locks, Wisconsin and is a member of the Wisconsin Chiropractic Association (WCA) and Heart of the Valley Chamber of Commerce.
As the son of Dr. Jim, Dr. Matt has been a chiropractic patient since birth, understanding the immense benefits of chiropractic care first hand. Outside of the office, Dr. Matt enjoys spending time with his wife Sarah, and daughters Brianna and MaKenna. He takes pleasure in coaching boys volleyball for Kimberly High School and giving back to the community. Dr. Matt helps with the organization of Paperfest and is a member of Holy Spirit Church. Some of Dr. Matt’s favorite sports include volleyball, golf, softball, disc golf, basketball, and any lawn-game you can come up with. Dr. Matt regularly attends Packer games, loves traveling, and enjoys trying new restaurants. Did we mention his love for ice cream?!
Chiropractor
Dr. Kevin J. Boots
Dr. Kevin is the newest doctor to join the Boots Chiropractic & Wellness Center team. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in October 2020. Prior to attending Palmer Dr. Kevin graduated from UW-Stevens Point ('17) with a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology while minoring in Business Administration. Dr. Kevin is joining his father, Dr. Jim, uncle, Dr. Bill, and brother, Dr. Matt.
Dr. Kevin is a member of the Wisconsin Chiropractic Association (WCA). He is also well versed in the Activator Methods Chiropractic technique having taught it to Palmer students while in graduate school and being rated Proficient by Activator Methods. While Dr. Kevin is the newest doctor in the office he has enhanced his skills with multiple post-graduate courses focusing on different techniques, pediatrics, low level laser therapy, and nutrition.
Dr. Kevin grew up in Combined Locks and currently resides in Kimberly, WI with his wife, Alona and his kids Lydia and Landon. In his free time Dr. Kevin enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, hunting, fishing, watching sports, and playing video games with his friends.
